The herbs I always seem to come back to
Over the years, I’ve slowly started leaning more into natural remedies and herbs for everyday things like stress, sleep, digestion, burnout, and those days where your body just feels off.
Now before we start — I am definitely not a doctor. 😅I always think it’s important to do your own research and talk with your doctor before trying anything new, especially if you take medications or have health conditions.
These are simply a few herbs that personally became staples in my own routine and why I’ve grown to love them
#1 Peppermint
Peppermint is probably one of the easiest herbs to fall in love with because it actually tastes good and has benefits.
I personally drink peppermint tea when my stomach feels upset or when digestion feels all over the place. It can also help when you feel a headache starting or when your body just needs something calming and refreshing.
And let’s be honest… peppermint smells amazing too. 😅

#2 Lavender
Lavender is most known for its calming scent, but honestly, I didn’t realize how relaxing it could feel until I actually started using it myself.
Lavender tea, oils, sprays, or even just the smell of lavender can help create a calmer environment — especially during stressful weeks or restless nights.
I personally like mixing lavender with peppermint tea when I need to unwind.

#3 Ginger
Ginger surprised me the most.
I started taking ginger mainly for nausea and stomach issues, especially in the mornings, but I quickly realized it helped more than I expected.
Ginger is often used to support digestion, inflammation, circulation, and even immune health. Plus, it’s one of those herbs that feels easy to add into everyday life through teas, capsules, or cooking.

#4 Ginseng
Ginseng is one of those herbs that people hear about all the time but don’t always know much about.
It’s often used to help support energy, focus, mental performance, and the immune system. I personally noticed it helped me feel more mentally awake without making me feel jittery.
And yes… it also has a reputation for helping libido too, which honestly made me laugh the first time I researched it. 😂

#5 Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha has become one of my favorite herbs for stress and anxiety support.
The best way I can describe it is that it helped me feel calmer without making me feel like a zombie. Some people also use it to support sleep and cortisol balance.
The name may sound intimidating, but once you get past trying to pronounce it, it’s actually a really interesting herb to learn about.

Final Thoughts
These are just a few herbs I personally keep coming back to for stress, sleep, digestion, and everyday life. Again, always do your own research and talk with your doctor before trying anything new.
I’m not a doctor — just someone learning more natural ways to support my body and mind a little better. 😊
If you’ve tried any of these herbs before, I’d genuinely love to hear your experience.
Until next time, have a blessed day.
