Starting Too Many Home Projects at Once.  (And Not Finishing Any 😅)

If you’ve ever started multiple home projects and struggled to finish them… you’re not alone.

The bathroom is so close to being done.
Like… so close I can almost pretend it’s finished 😅

All I have left is: paint the shower,
paint the towel closet…

and boom—one whole room DONE.

But of course…

nothing is ever that simple.

Because while I was waiting for the Liquid Nails to dry…

(and also second-guessing the green I picked—because obviously now is the time for that)

my brain decided:

“Wait… what about the entryway?”
And then immediately:

“Actually… should I paint the patio first?

That’s the first thing people see when they walk in…”

And THEN:

“Wait… the outside trim could use paint too…”

And now?

I’m sitting here completely overwhelmed…

and haven’t started any of it 😂

Like how did I go from: 👉 finishing one home project
to
👉 starting five new DIY projects

in 20 minutes??

And just to make things even better…
the weather decided to turn chilly.

Which, for me, instantly kills all motivation when it comes to painting projects.

Also—I’m a messy painter.

Like… paint will end up somewhere it shouldn’t.

And all my long-sleeve shirts?

Nice ones.

So now I’m over here like: “Do I start painting… or do I protect my clothes?” 😅

And if that wasn’t enough going on…

while I’m waiting for a foster placement…

I also thought it would be a great idea to offer babysitting on the weekends 🙃

I’m still not sure what I was thinking there.

So now I’ve got:

a half-finished bathroom project

multiple home projects started

no motivation because it’s cold

and weekend babysitting on the table

Honestly?

I think my brain just doesn’t understand the concept of finishing one project at a time.

But hey…

I do plan on posting before and after pictures.

(Only if it actually looks better… otherwise we’re just gonna pretend I never started 😅)

And maybe…

just maybe…

I’ll finish the bathroom first.

We’ll see.

people love to say “just finish one thing.”

Meanwhile I’m over here like:

“I will… right after I check this other thing real quick.”

…and somehow that turns into five projects going at once all over again 😂

So yeah…

we’ll see what actually gets finished first…

Hopefully the bathroom.

But honestly?
