Some blog posts are easy to write.
This isn’t one of them.
When I started Jade’s Random Thought’s, I wasn’t trying to become a professional writer or build a popular website. I simply wanted a cozy little corner of the internet where I could share my thoughts, my faith, and the little lessons life has taught me along the way.
Some posts came from happy moments.
Others came from difficult seasons.
Many were written while sitting with a cup of coffee, trying to make sense of life just like everyone else.
Over time, this blog became more than a website.
It became a place where I could slow down, reflect, and hopefully encourage someone else who might be walking through a difficult season.
Writing each week became something I truly looked forward to.
Sometimes Life Has Other Plans
Life has a way of changing our plans.
Sometimes those changes are exciting.
Sometimes they’re heartbreaking.
And sometimes they’re simply out of our control.
Unfortunately, this is one of those moments.
The cost of keeping this website online has become more than I can manage right now. As much as I’d love to keep writing here every week, I simply can’t afford to renew my hosting.
Unless something changes, Jade’s Random Thought’s will go offline on August 10th, 2026.
Typing those words is much harder than I ever imagined.
I never expected finances to be the reason this journey might come to an end, but sometimes life asks us to make difficult decisions.
More Than Just a Blog
To some people, this may just be another blog.
To me, it became a place where I could be myself.
A place to share the little things that make life beautiful.
A place to remind both you and myself that God is still faithful, even when life doesn’t make sense.
A place where ordinary moments mattered.
If even one post made you smile…
If one post encouraged you…
If one post reminded you that you weren’t walking through life alone…
Then every minute spent writing was worth it.
