How Did I Become This Person? 😅
I never planned on becoming the person researching magnesium spray at midnight or reading skincare ingredients like I’m studying for finals… but somehow that’s exactly what happened. 😅
Honestly, this whole thing started because my skin was tired of me.
The older I got, the more sensitive my skin became. Certain products made my face burn, dry out, or break out for absolutely no reason. And after a while, I started wondering if maybe all the overly scented, chemical-filled stuff just wasn’t helping me anymore.
So I started making small changes.Nothing extreme. I’m not out here churning butter or growing herbs in my windowsill like a cottagecore influencer. 😂
I just started paying attention to what actually made my body feel better. And weirdly enough… some of it worked.
My Skin Was Tired of Me
I swear my skin used to tolerate almost anything when I was younger.
Now? One overly scented face wash and suddenly my skin acts like I personally betrayed it. 😅
Dry patches. Random irritation. Redness for no reason.
And honestly, I got tired of buying products that promised miracles and did absolutely nothing except make my bathroom counter more crowded.
That’s when I started paying more attention to ingredients and looking into simpler, more natural products.
Not because I suddenly thought I knew everything about natural living…
I was just tired of my face being dramatic. 😂
Milk + Manuka
This is one of the first products that made me stop and go, “Wait a minute…”
I originally bought it because my skin looked tired and irritated all the time. Honestly, I expected it to end up shoved in a bathroom drawer with all the other products that disappointed me.
But after using it for a while, my skin started feeling softer, calmer, and way less dry.
The biggest difference I noticed was the moisture. My skin didn’t feel tight and uncomfortable anymore — especially during colder months when my face normally acts personally offended by winter air.
And the funny part is… I almost didn’t buy it because I thought the whole “Manuka honey skincare” thing sounded a little strange to me. 😅
Turns out I was wrong.
Why Do Adult Bodies Suddenly Hate Everything? 😂
Nobody really warns you that getting older turns into randomly researching ingredients and trying to figure out why your body suddenly hates everything.
One day you’re carefree.
The next day you’re reading reviews about magnesium spray while drinking herbal tea and wondering if lavender can solve your stress problems. 😂
And somehow… now I have opinions about honey.
Life comes at you fast.
Small Changes I Actually Noticed
One thing I’ve realized through all of this is that little things really do add up.
Better sleep. Gentler products. Less irritation. Paying attention to what your body is trying to tell you instead of constantly ignoring it.
And no, I’m not saying natural products magically fix everything. But I do think there’s something to be said for slowing down and paying attention to what makes you feel better instead of just grabbing whatever has the prettiest packaging.
For me, that mindset alone changed a lot.
The Rabbit Hole Continues… 😅
At this point, I’ve fully accepted that I’m the person who gets excited about elderberry syrup and skincare ingredients now.
Life is weird like that. 😂
But honestly? I’ve enjoyed learning more about natural living, simpler ingredients, and small ways to support my health a little better.
And trust me… this rabbit hole keeps getting deeper.
Until next time, have a blessed day 🤍

Can’t wait to try this!!
I can’t wait to hear about it.
